The second meeting went well, very well. We  delegated committee teams and finally set a date. It must be remembered that we are having a phone conference at 3 pm on Monday with reference to the Program committee. We introduced a new member to the planning team, Ms. Christina Devos. She will, no doubt, be a strong asset to the team, as she works and collaborates with Lynn Heemstra, the program committee's chair, to coordinate efforts. 


The Budget and PR teams will also meet this coming week. I will post the agenda, anf any other document, relative to the secon meeting in the downloads sections. 

The Planning Committe met on 6.26.09 at the Fair Housing Center. Everything went great. We had three city youth commissioners on the plannin committee. They gave some very good pointers that I will incorporate into the minutes when I post the minutes online.  I want to stimulate as much discourse as possible about PrayerWatch, as I value everyone's ideas.  I am open to feedback, so please post your ideas on line so we can streamline the process as much as possible. 


There were some people who didnt make it to the meeting. My assumption is that they got tied up and could not make it. I will make sure they are kept in the loop via email and updates.  This week I will seek new committee members to complete our circle, and I will also connect with sub-committe chairs about dates and times of their meetings. In an effort to make sure all are plugged in, we have updated our site and posted a calendar so all know dates, times, locations, etc.
